Bee Removal

At Desert Oasis Pest Control we are very dedicated to keeping and preserving the honey bees in our community. We have an apiary located in Las Cruces, NM near the Rio Grande. We have around 10 active hives. Brad and his wife are active in the Bee Community in and around New Mexico. We will do everything in our power to preserve the bees that we are called to remove. Rarely the bees are in such a place that we are unable to safely and efficiently remove the bees with out extensive property damage. The choice of how to proceed next will be up to the property owner.

Termites

Your home is the largest investment you can make. We offer termite inspections and termite treatments. For a routine termite inspection we inspect in and around your home and check for any evidence of termite damage. For homes in the building phase we do a pre-treatment which includes treating the wooden frames of the home. When a home is sold in Las Cruces, NM a termite inspection is required. If termites are found then we offer a termite post-treatment. This includes treating all the soil around the home. We offer all the appropriate paperwork including NPMA-33.

german Roaches

These cockroaches are a specific breed of roaches. These roaches live around the kitchen area as well as the bath rooms. They love moist warm areas. They reproduce very quickly and so an infestation can get out of hand in a hurry, if left untreated. German roaches take about two treatments spaced two to four weeks apart. This is the most effective treatment schedule that we have found.

Bed Bugs

Bed Bugs are one of the most pesky bugs we treat. These bugs require about to treatment spaced about two to four weeks apart. Bed bugs like to live in cracks and crevices in and around the bed and the couches that humans spend a lot of time around. Bed bugs feed off human blood. You might wake up with spots on you that itch. You might also find that the bed bugs will be more attracted to one person in the house more then others. To identify these bugs you can look in tight spots around your bed and look for bed bugs, they are about the size and shape of an apple seed. You might also notice fecal matter which look like pin point black stains on and around the furniture.

General PestControl

We offer a wide service pest control service. In this treatment we will treat the outside of your home with a wide boarder of pesticide. We will also treat inside as necessary. Upon arrival of our appointment we will talk with you and ask you if you’ve seen any bugs, this will provide you with the best possible service. Based on the customer’s report we can tailor our treatment to fit your concerns and needs. These chemicals are relatively safe (they are less toxic then tooth paste), as a cautionary measure we advise our clients, as well as kids and pets, to not step in the pesticide until its dry (typically 15 mins or less).
